Lol I was loving Yang's attitude during the inquiry, it was so funny each time he questioned what that guy was intending to say and turning his words against him.
It was interesting to see Yang frustrated, throwing his hat down. It's not a common sight we get to see. I also liked how Greenhill was threatening Bay for how they're treating Yang.
only 3 comments, what is happening to people's taste.
yes, pretty weird. probably, few people like space opera, even with renowned seiyuu people and "good graphism" (meaning today's) (not counting the fact that some always prefer the original, since better graphism and seiyuu is seen as just that, a modern plus but no more, while the original story is... the original^^)
(Star wars is more accessible, as an US movie : good vs evil, simple like US people like it, while that series is more complicated :
good : Alliance (since democracy) ?
Trunich elected but being a dictator -with his goon group harassing everyone troubling the dictator in chief- (like Hitler was) : bad ?
aristocracy having all the money (corruption too) while the common people have trouble living : bad ? (even if it has stability)
the revolution/civil war putting a new dictator in place with more emphasis on the people (in theory^^) : good or bad ? (like Soviet Union replacing common people being serf with no right under the Russian monarchy into workers being able to go to school, having free healthcare etc for "free" (in theory) )
An US-like country, Phezzan (or Swiss, you choose) who trade with both faction for their war, making lot of money (and trying to disband several empires by demanding collateral for helping -islands, enormeous amount of money, etc- which for most war participant were only repaid in the last 20 years) and then choosing a side over the other (because of being attacked and joining the war) : bad or good ?
They fixed some japanese/military speech from the original, where it was pretty boring with very long sentence from characters (military commanders and nobles), due to the way they needed to speak. It is more dynamic (shorter) right now.
Only since that re-do have I began to watch the original ! (because years ago when I first watched it, I had trouble with those unending sentence, which made me sleep everytime someone spoke that way)
Ikr. Try recommend DNH to friends but they just meh
What's the watch order for this series?
You watch the DNT followed by 2 and 3.
its time for the star fortress showdown!
why are people sleeping on this anime?
I remember this triggering me in the original as well. These pompous authoritarian dickwads tried to coerce their most valuable asset to fall in line but unlike them he's not power hungry enough to bend to their wills. Fortunately, their insufferableness was balanced out by getting to watch Yang and Frederica smack these pieces of trash in the face with the very same national values they attempt to exploit for their own personal gain at the expense of the democratic values that founded the alliance.
Seeing the Inquiry re-animated is a thing of beauty.
Marry that woman dear admiral Yung!
Well his sex/marital life is probably the same as Oberstiens
I was pretty sure like ๐ฏ that kempff was gonna die, too many death flags. But now that yang is not in iserlorn, maybe he will win after all... No spoilers please
Kemf is a good guy
Wow, people do not know what an amazing story this series has to offer! I'm glad to see some people don't have their head in their ass (or have windows๐๐ค)
GREAT JOB GUYS LETS KEEP IT UP TILL THE END๐๐๐
THIS IS SO HYPE LETS GO
Things are about to get hot
I love this series and the questions it poses. Is democracy inherently good ? Is dictatorship inherently evil or merely the result of peoples implicit agreement ? most modern day animes are so absolutely bland in comparison.. just good vs bad or protaginist vs antagonist
man's like fuck this shit i'm out
Yang might be a brilliant strategist but what Cassel said about him is true. He is too careless with his own life and protection. In that regard Lohengramm is miles ahead of him. If his aim is to protect democracy then first he needs to be alive to do so.
imagine an entire stellar fortress warping in front of your nose while the fucking bigots of your governement are too preocupied lynching the only man capable of defending them....
Yeah biatch of the free planet it's about time you all get democracy lesson by Lohengramm's dynasty, watching those inquiries really made me angry somehow after almost 20 years
Yang wenli roasting politicans never gets old
